About Me

I have the best job in the world! I get to be a stay at home Mom with my 16 month old son who is so full of life and keeps me busy as can be! He was born 6 weeks early and had to stay in the NICU for a few weeks. Which was extremely hard, especially since my husband and I had imagined this miracle a little differently as first time parents. I am Married to the most amazing, hard working, handsome husband anyone could ask for. I love to ski! My all time favorite sport, and that is actually how i met my Prince Charming! I jumped on to the same ski lift as him, he being a snowboarder(we can coexist after all!) and we skied the rest of the season together. We had our fairytale wedding and were married in a beautiful castle (AKA Salt Lake Temple) a year later. We have now been married for almost four years and are loving every minute of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church but I have never doubted if it was true. I have seen and felt my Heavenly Fathers love for me and my family throughout my life, and now that I am a mother i have a better understanding of his love and it has drawn me even closer to him. Knowing who i am and why I'm here and knowing that i can be with my family forever makes me so happy and i want everyone to have that understanding.

How I live my faith

I know I'm far from being perfect but I also know that one day i can be if I live a righteous life. So I strive to be more Christ like so i can be a good example to my children, husband and those around me. I hope people see that there is something special about me and want to find out what that is.

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

Yes I believe with all my heart that families are forever! Sacred ordinances are preformed by worthy priesthood holders in the temple that seal a family together forever. Matt 16:19 "...Whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven..." and in the book of Helaman in the Book of Mormon it also states "...Whatsoever ye shall seal on earth shall be sealed in heaven..." Helaman 10:7

This is more than just instinct. We are indeed eternal beings whose origin is before the creation of the earth. And one of the things we come to earth to do is to find a companion, not only for this mortal existence, but for eternity as well. God has provided the place, the Temple of the Lord, and the authority, the power to seal things on earth and in heaven. So that eternal relationships can be established here and enjoyed after this life is done. Do I believe it? I feel certain that these principles are true. The Holy Ghost confirms that to my spirit.

Do Mormons practice polygamy?

No, Mormons do not practice polygamy and discontinued the practice over a century ago. Yet, whenever I discuss my faith, often the first question asked is, "how many wives do you have?" It is important to know that the religious groups that currently practice polygamy, as often seen on the news, have no affiliation with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Even though some of these groups may claim otherwise.
