Mikey: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Mikey

I'm a student, an appreciator, an adventurist, and a food eater. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love America, facial hair, trying new things, increasing my vocabulary, being young, listening to fun music, finding treasures, and making art out of random things. I love my family with all of my heart, and I love making friends with people.

Hamilton Day is my boy.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that is what God wants me to be! I love the clarity and understanding that come from the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and I love the opportunity it gives me to learn, grow, and worship God.

I am a Mormon because I feel the Holy Spirit in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. However, thanks is owed to my wonderful grandparents who converted about 40 years ago.

A friend from work introduced my mom's parents to the missionaries in California where they were living. My grandma and grandpa investigated the church, found truth, and decided to act upon this knowledge by being baptized and raising my mother in the church.

My dad's dad was a young Jewish man living in Miami who married a Mormon. Although he was very supportive of his wife and children, he refused to learn much about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for many years, using his heritage as an excuse. The principle that finally intrigued him into studying and praying about Mormonism was temple marriages that last for eternity. I know that I can be with my family forever if I hold true to what the Gospel of Jesus Christ has taught me because of the blessings that come from temples.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by showing those around me how happy it makes me and trying to share happiness with them. To me that is what life is about--peace and growth and happiness. No matter your circumstances you deserve to be happy. That is what God wants for you, I'm 100 % sure of it.

I live my faith by saying hi to those around me. I live my faith by smiling, and laughing, and goofing around, and helping others understand that true peace and joy come from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With a proper understanding of God and His plan for you there is no need to stress or be scared or miserable. God is love, God is love.
