Hi, I'm Mike
I'm a Mormon. I was born in England but now live in the US. I'm a public relations practitioner.
About Me
I'm a convert - met the Church in England when I was 19. Raised my kids in Australia and now live in the US near the headquarters of the Church in Salt Lake City. Love the Church and its principles, and all I've learned from being a member for over 40 years.
Why I am a Mormon
I find in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints a strong motivation to try to live as Jesus Christ would want me to live. The Church embraces all the principles that the Lord taught when he was on earth, and that we read in the New Testament. I love its compassion, its genuineness and the truly magnificent concepts of families living together for ever, and the fact that we continue to grow and develop even after we die. I can't imagine an eternity where we just rest. That makes no sense to me. Our Heavenly Father would always want us to be learning and growing. Above all, I embrace the Church because I made the Book of Mormon a matter of deep personal prayer and study, and I got my answers.
How I live my faith
Most of us feel we fall short from time to time, but the grace of Jesus Christ carries us the rest of the way if we do our part. I believe in being honest, kind to others, working hard, and I try to avoid being judgmental. My wife, children and grandchildren are the center of my world, and the gospel of Jesus Christ is the glue that holds it all together.

Joseph Smith
As is the case throughout history God has communicated to His children through prophets. God used a humble man as a prophet to restore His Church on earth who ultimately died defending His faith.
