Hi, I'm Krista
I am a wife, a mom, a blogger. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and blogger. Balancing all of my roles can, at times, can be challenging but I wouldn't change a thing! I am blessed to be the stay-at-home mom of 4 precious boys who bring joy to my life. They have certainly taught me the importance of patience and sacrifice.
Why I am a Mormon
I discovered the church in high school from a dear friend who, by chance, slept over on a school night and had scripture study in the morning. Well, she was my best friend so of course I went with her! I was brought up believing in a higher being but without any formal religion. When I began studying the gospel of Jesus Christ I was filled with the Spirit. I attended early morning scripture study regularly and began reading the Book of Mormon. I prayed fervently to my Heavenly Father to direct me and asked if the book was true. My heart was touched and a feeling of peace swept over me and I KNEW it was! I was baptized as soon as I turned 18 and I have been blessed to be apart of this church ever since. I know this church is the true! It brings me such peace and guidance in a world of confusion.
How I live my faith
I have enjoyed, for many years, teaching the youth of our church. They are such wonderful examples of pure Christ-like love and I find myself learning more from them than they probably learn from me. As much as I enjoy teaching them I also love spending time and learning from other women. I have found some of my best friends through the programs at church.
