About Me

I'm a stay-at-home mom to four amazing kids. Our life is sometimes crazy, but totally worth it! I thoroughly enjoy making my home a place that they want to be. I love music, art, the beach, food, books, and PEOPLE!

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't grow up in this church, but my parents taught me basic principles that I later built upon when I met the missionaries. I joined the church because it was clear and direct. It answered questions that I had and filled in the blanks for me. I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and the blessings that are poured out upon us as we follow the principals contained within it. I love the hope and direction that the gospel provides for me and my family. I am grateful everyday for the decision I made to join this church.

How I live my faith

I have had experiences in my life that have taught me to rely on my Heavenly Father. I have received the greatest blessings when I stay close to Him and listen carefully to the counsel I receive through prayer. I live my faith by trying to find joy in each day and remembering the many blessings that I've been given.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

I love the Savior. I have a testimony that there is no other way that we can attain our greatest potential and joy than through his atoning sacrifice for us. I know that He died for our sins and that His life was the greatest gift our Heavenly Father has given us. Through Him, miracles are possible, changes can occur, and our weaknesses can be turned into strengths.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

No, but we are instructed to be involved and to seek spiritual guidance in all political matters.

We believe that the leaders of a nation, state, and community can have a great influence for good or for evil and we need to ensure that they are represent our values and beliefs.
