Hi, I'm Landon
I'm a son, a friend, a student and a teacher. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am an average guy. I am studying at a university here in Utah (though I'm from Arizona), and I hope to receive (someday) my degree in business. Two days ago I went snowboarding, which is my favorite winter passtime. I love music and play the violin, guitar, and piano. My family and my friends are everything to me.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon because as I have grown up in this church, I have seen the Lord's hand numerous times as he whispers to me that it is true. I am a Mormon because I have received a personal distinct witness that this church is true. I was able to see many lives change for the better as they come to know that God has called a modern day prophet. I guess simply enough I am a Mormon because I want to be.
Personal Stories
How can your talents and gifts bless others?
I know that it can be hard at times to recognize the talents and blessings we have from the Lord. One of mine that I have found is the ability to listen to the challenges and problems of others and genuinely feel their pain and relate with them. I have felt so much the power of spirit as I help lift others in times of crisis. To be there for a friend brings true happiness to me and I give thanks for that blessing which I have received.
How I live my faith
I teach gospel lessons on sundays to other 20 something year old guys. I also work teaching spanish to new LDS missionaries for the first 2 months of their missions. I love to serve these groups and to participate in the many activities of my local congregation.
