Jennifer: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Jennifer

I'm an avid reader, an organizing guru, I hate cooking, I love to dance, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am married and I have 3 children. I graduated with a BA in French. I love learning about other cultures, and languages. I love reading, dancing, and playing family card games (non gambling). I am a bit of an organizing fanatic. I hate to cook, but enjoy baking. I have traveled to other countries, danced in front of thousands of people, and have experienced 3 miraculous adoptions (my children).

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ. I know He is my personal Savior and the Savior of the world. I have come to a knowledge that His gospel, which was lost after the deaths of His apostles, has been restored to the earth at a time when we all need God more than ever. God has always spoken to us through prophets, and I know that President Thomas S. Monson is His prophet for us today. I am a mormon because I believe this church is the true Church of Jesus Christ.

Personal Stories

Could you talk about your baptism?

I was baptised when I was eight years old. I remember the day very well. My mom sewed me a beautiful dress to wear (it was a twirly one!) and all of my family was with me that day. When I was baptised I felt in my heart that I did the right thing. I felt that I was following Jesus' example. The most memorable part was when I was confirmed a member of the Church and given the Gift of the Holy Ghost. I remember having a wonderful warm feeling start at the top of my head and move all the way down to my toes. It was a comforting feeling and even at a tender age I knew that my Heavenly Father loved me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to love and serve others as Jesus did. I try to show compassion and tolerance when I am confronted with opposition. I feel joy in teaching Sunday School for our youth at church and when I volunteer at my children's school for feildtrips and celebrations. When I live my faith and I am obedient to God's commandments my faith in God increases. I can feel happiness, even when I am going through hard times.
