Lesly!: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Lesly!

I'm Filipina! I love our family!! I love to watch movies. I love make-ups! And I am a Mormon!

About Me

I came from a huge family! My father is the 2nd of 11 or 12 kids! My mother is the 1st of 7 and I am the 1st of 5! Fun! I graduated College already. I love our family, sooo much! I love drawing. I believe in the power of repentance. And that laughing at yourself is the best medicine of embarrasment and awkwardness! Haha!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents paved the way for me. I grew up in a Catholic home. My mother especially, taught me who God is. I always wanted to know more about Him. More than what I used to hear. When I was 11, I heard from the missionaries that were teaching us that God is our loving Father in Heaven and that He knows us individually and He knows our names! That touched my very young heart and I immidietly knew it was true! And it has always been true to me since, then. God knows us and our concerns that He sent two missionaries from far away to answer an 11yr old-girl's question! I love that! We also learned that families can be forever. My parents got baptized first and a month later 3 of us got baptized and now we are all members of the Church. That's awesome!

Personal Stories

How does making right choices help us make more right choices?

When we make right choices, things go right and we feel happy and people around us feel happy as well. And because we are happy and every one is happy, we would want to continue to have that happy feeling so we would make more right choices! That's how I feel. It's a chain for me! I like making other people happy!

How I live my faith

I do my best to be obedient and follow the commandments and then rely on the Lord Jesus Christ. Over time I learned not to be hard on myself when things in my life fall through. I have had opportunities to serve with the young single adults, youth and children in our ward. I loved it! Those opportunities had helped me a lot to grow, love other people and be happy!
