I grew up in Alberta Canada, I am a high school graduate working towards university. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old currently serving a mission! I love science, but I also love theater, acting is one of my favorite things to do! Along with spending time with my friends and family, and playing volleyball.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I am filled with love from god, I have felt the difference, doing my own thing versus a life in the faith of Christ. I feel joy like I have ever known, and I have grown a greater love for everything around me. I am greatful for everything I have, especially, for the love of my Savior.

Personal Stories

Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?

I can personally testify that prayer is a great blessing. Things just get easier the more I communicate with my Father in Heaven. When I pray I am strengthened, and have a desire to do good. Prayer fills me with joy!

Why do Mormons go on missions?

Because the first thing desire to do, when you receive the light and love of Christ, is to share it with everyone!

How I live my faith

I make an effort every day to serve when I have an oppertunity
I am serving a mission for 2 years in the philidalphia pennsylvania mission
serving the Lord with all my heart might mind and strength

What is the difference between attending church and the temple?

the temple is a sacred place not only for worship, but to make very sacred covenants with god. Only members of the highest standards are allowed to enter, and it is there that the presence of god is the strongest. In the temple is where we are sealed to families forever, and do ordinances like baptism for the dead.

We go to church weekly to worship and take the sacrament, which is like communion. Everyone, no matter their faith, is welcome to come to church services and learn more about the Gospel.

The temple is a special place where members make further promises to Heavenly Father that they will keep his commandments. It is also where we are married, or sealed together, and where we can be baptized and sealed for our family members who have died before having those opportunities in life.

To go to the temple you need a card called a temple reccomend from your church leaders that confirms that you are currently doing your best to follow Christ and His Gospel as a member of the Church.

Can you tell me about Mormon customs: how you dress for church, what holidays you celebrate, etc.?

Mormon customs throughout the world do not vary widely. In fact in my travels around the world, the church is one big family which welcomes you as one of their own. Most of the major national and Christian holidays are celebrated Christmas, Easter, New Years when ever oit occurs, and nation's founding, and personal birthdays. Mormons dress up for Sunday services. When traveling, casual, modest clothing is normal. For other activities, any modest attire is acceptable. There are occasional "theme" activities with approprite dress.
