i love working on cars! any thing and everything about cars is awesome! drifting is my favorite motorsport. im 20 years old and, im on a mission right now in the Arizona Tempe mission. teaching and learning from people is my favorite part.

Why I am a Mormon

i was challenged to find out for my self. so i did what moroni challenged the world to do. and pray in faith to God, and ask him if the Book of Mormon is true. if the Book of Mormon is true then you know 3 things.
1. Jesus is the Christ
2. that Joseph Smith is His prophet
3. the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is his church on the earth today.
i did that. and now i know these things for my self. if i didnt then i wouldnt be out here on my mission serveing the lord. but i do know these things. so i share them. i love doing this!

How I live my faith

i live my faith threw example to my friends, my family, and everyone around me. shareing the gospel on my mission is a big part. i have been called by God to invite people to come unto Christ. ive been set apart as a representitave of our Savior Jesus Christ. shareing the gospel Jesus Christ taught helps to incrase my faith. shareing your testimony with others increases it.

What is faith?

faith is not to have a perfect knolwledge of things. but to hope for things witch arent seen witch are true. see alma 32 21 its really simple if you think about it.

Of all the definitions of faith I have read or heard, I add the simplest and most complete to me, which is the Love of Christ. I cannot think of a better way to describe faith. Love of Christ is the substance of hope in something evident we can not see with earthly eyes. It is the faith in Christ or the love of Christ that enabled Able to make a more perfect sacrifice (Hebrews 11:4). That love is why we believe in Christ, it is why we have grace, it is why we have works, it is why we have belief, it is why we have hope, it is why we have charity, it is the very essence of faith, and faith is the very essence of the Love of Christ

Perfect knowledge is worthless without faith. For instance, most of us have perfect knowledge that applying a pointed pencil to paper will cause a mark. That knowledge will not make a mark if we do not exercise the elements of faith called works (picking up the pencil, applying it to the paper, and making a mark), belief (that doing so will make a mark), and hope (that it actually will make a mark). It is my desire that you would exercise works to find out about Christ and study Him, that you would believe on His words and His life and His sacrifice, and that you would hope that He would have an effect in your life. If you exercise this faith, you will truly come unto Him.

I used to play in a Balinese Gamelan ensemble here in Washington, DC on weeknights and had some of my friends ask me this question. First, I pointed out that anyone can go into the temple during the open house to see what it is like. After it is dedicated, it becomes holy ground and you have to make yourself clean or holy to go in. I told them that EVERYONE can go to the temple, as long as they are wiling to go through that process of becoming clean. I reminded them that you can't just waltz in to the White House either (much to the chagrin of many tourists here). You have to go through a background check that takes 6 weeks and that is just to get into the East Wing, the West Wing requires a job and security clearance. Our protectiveness of the temple is not a sign of secrecy, it is more a manifestation of how special and important the the building and its rituals are.

And I hope people don't get intimidated by the word "ritual", everyone who has gone through a school graduation has experienced a ritual. It just means that we are participating in life-changing experiences that turn our hearts to God, our families and our fellow men. The real difference is that we believe that process of making devotional promises to God in a sacred place is necessary for our salvation. That is why we encourage everyone to join with us and make their way to the temple.
