Hi, I'm Jillyan
I'm eighteen. I love the church and my family and friends. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
My name is Jillyan. I'm eighteen and my hometown is in North Carolina. I am currently attending college in Utah. I love field hockey, road-trips and writing. I am currently in Army ROTC and am planning on becoming an officer.
Why I am a Mormon
I was blessed with the opportunity to be born into an LDS family. I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for the support it has been in my life. Knowing about the love and Atonement of my Savior has helped me through many struggles and trials as well as uplifted me to the best events in my life. I am so grateful for the opportunity every day to build my testimony and see the wonders that my Heavenly Father places before me. His strength and love is my constant companion. Without it, I wouldn't be the person I am today.
How I live my faith
As a member of my college ward, I have a calling as a visiting teacher. This means myself and one of my roommates are assigned to teach and support two other girls in our apartment complex. We visit them once a month to teach them a lesson from the scriptures and to make sure their needs are being met and to serve them in whatever way they need.

Joseph Smith
As is the case throughout history God has communicated to His children through prophets. God used a humble man as a prophet to restore His Church on earth who ultimately died defending His faith.
