Sara.: single, young, fun, entrepreneur, female, healthy, Mormon.

Hi, I'm Sara.

I'm 30 years old. I like to do spontaneous things. I derive pleasure from helping others. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to have my hand in many pots. I love helping others understand how money works. I am very involved in my congregation here in Huntington Beach and it feels like home away from home. I love to travel, sing, dance, and have spontaneous adventures.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon church, but I came to a point in my life when I needed to find out for myself of its truthfulness. Since I was a small child I always had faith and believed it was the right thing for me, but as a college student I realized I had never read the Book of Mormon in its entirety on my own and that I needed my own witness that it was true. I had a friend getting ready to go on his mission for the church who had never read it either so we made a goal together to read it in two months before he left. That goal required daily study of about 10 pages a day. At the end of the Book of Mormon there is a promise given to us from the Lord through the prophet Moroni. It is that if we will study and pray about the Book of Mormon's truthfulness we can receive an answer by the power of the Holy Ghost. I still remember kneeling alone in my bedroom after completing that book of scripture and asking God with faith if it was true. I received a real answer accompanied by peace and understanding. That answer is the reason I am a Mormon.

Personal Stories

How has the Holy Ghost helped you?

As a member of the godhead the Holy Ghost has helped me to make decisions, warned me of physical and spiritual danger, taught me truth and influenced me for good.

How I live my faith

Living my faith means serving and helping others whether or not they are members of my church.

"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." James 1:27
