Hi, I'm Kryssie
I'm a wife, mom, sister, friend, business owner, cake addict and I'm a Mormon.
About Me
My glass is always half full. Motherhood challenges and rewards me and I know that it is one of my greatest joys. I attempt to artfully balance being a woman, wife, mama, and business owner. I'm trustworthy and cherish loyalty. I'm a devoted friend and will be there when you need me. I would do anything for my family. I love being a sister and having sisters. Often I've found pretty things a result of the messes I've made. I love how my camera feels in my hands. I'm horrible at keeping journals and updating blogs but I'm trying to get better, really. I write like I talk... in rambles. I wish I used bigger words on a regular basis, if only just to seem clever. Our family is the best thing we've ever done. I make my sisters laugh, my two kids giggle and my husband swoon, well, sort of. Hubs is my best and eternal friend and companion. We own a small production company and it's a good thing we like each other because we are together 3 days a week all day and all night. We work hard to live the life we want. Yay!
Why I am a Mormon
I'm a Mormon because I love my family so much, there is no possible way I could imagine eternity without them. I don't have to anymore. I'm a Mormon because Heavenly Father loved me so much he wanted to give me the opportunity to come to this world, make my difference and return to his presence a loving daughter of God. I spent a dozen years thinking I didn't need the gospel in my life, that my relationship with God was enough. I'm a Mormon because with this gospel and this truth, that relationship with my father in heaven is tried, tested, and ultimately strengthened every single day. I have a testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ and know that through his planned sacrifice, the atonement, I am able to return to live with my eternal family in heaven. I know that existence does not end with this life, I believe that there are many wonderful things I am meant to do and tucking my kids in each night is the Lords way of saying, I TRUST YOU. I'm a Mormon cuz it's awesome.
How I live my faith
We strive to live by example and teach our children to do the same. In trying to be like Jesus, I am open minded and non judgmental. My time with my church is freely and gladly given as is the time of so many other good examples in our life.
