Cody: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Cody

I served a mission for the LDS church. I am a student. I love making videos. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Cody. I grew up in the LDS Church in Arizona with my parents and 5 siblings. My parents are members of the LDS Church as well. I love to make videos and show them to others. I started getting into that hobby several years ago and enjoying doing that. I did track for a little bit: more specifically long-distance running. I also did a relay race in Utah and a half marathon and it helped me stay physically fit as well as continue to work towards goals. I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, and I even worked at a movie theater for a little while. I also enjoy hanging out with friends and trying to make others laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

Like mentioned earlier, I grew up in this Church since a child. This Church has brought a lot of blessings to my family and helps us stay close together. We still have problems and argue but having the Gospel in my home has helped us to look at the "eternal perspectives" of life. We have the Priesthood of God in my home and that helps us to stay true to our faith. I also know that the Gospel can help us stay out of trouble by allowing us to be around good influences. This helps us stay on the strait path back to our Heavenly Father. I get so much direction and peace by living the way I do.

How I live my faith

I love this Church and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the Church, we have opportunities to serve our members as well as to others not of our faith. At the moment, I am a ward missionary. That means that I work with some of the Church's full-time missionaries as well as others in our ward (congregation) to spread the Gospel. It is a great and fun way to serve. I go to a singles ward which is a congregation for young single adults. There is a very spiritual atmosphere there. Also, one Sunday a month, I teach some of the single men in our ward. It is usually a basic lesson on gospel principles (like faith, prayer, etc) but there is always something we can learn from those basic topics. I enjoy helping others and doing my part to help the Gospel move forward.
