About Me

I love going to the gym and out to lunch with friends. I enjoy taking my girls to the park and to the pool on hot days. I love going on vacations with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to grow up in an LDS family. I am so grateful for the gospel and the plan that has been laid our for me and my family. I believe in our living Prophet today, Thomas S. Monson and know that he leads and guides us. I am grateful for temples. I want to be with my family forever and I know through my temple sealing that will happen. This gospel has brought countless blessings to my life, and I hope everyone will have the opportunity to listen to it and find a testimony for themselves.

How I live my faith

I am a member of the "Eagle Springs" Ward. In the church I am able to serve in our womens organization, the Relief Society. I get to plan monthly activities that connect us together as sisters in the gospel. I also serve other sisters by visiting several each month. We go to lunch, meet at parks, or enjoy talks at each others homes. It's a blessing to share advice and experiences with other women who live the same standards that I do.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Yes- Mormons believe that through Temple marriages a husband and wife are sealed together forever, not just "until death do you part."

YES!!! This is one of my favorite parts of the gospel. I believe that my family will live together in heaven. I will know my family as my family members. My husband is my husband for now and for all eternity. My children are my children here on earth and for all eternity. I know that if something happened to one of us that I will see them again. I love this about the church. Before joining, I always had a question about this concept and when taking the discussions from the missionaries this came up. Makes me love the church more and more.

What is faith?

Faith is taking action because of a hope in something. Often the Savior asks of us to do certain things or live in certain ways. When we see a stranger in distress, we stop and help them as Jesus commanded us to in the Good Samaritan Luke 10:25. The act of helping is the evidence of our Faith in Christ. We are asked to tithe. Tithing is evidence of our faith. We tithe in hopes of the promises in Malachi 3:10 that the floodgates of Heaven are open to us.
Faith is when we put our beliefs and hope into action.
