Being in Law Enforcement puts you in many different situations. several years ago I was working as a plain clothes investigator. We had been searching for a wanted subject and had heard over the police radio that his vehicle had been located and they neede unmarked cars to follow the subject. After a long chase the subject crashed. He would not get out of the vehicle and began trying to escape by ramming several police cars and endangering officers lives. I had moved up to the passenger door. The Holy Ghost prompted me to move to my right, as I moved to the right the officer on the driverside of the vehilce had to shot the subject. I was directly across from the other officer and was in a crossfire. I believe the Holy Ghost helped me to get out of the way of the danger of being shot myself. I know that the Holy Ghost can and will help us, whether small or large if we live our lives centered in the gospel.
Well, I am a firm believer of living your religion. My work puts me in many differnt and challenging situations, but my friends and co-workers know I am LDS, and the standards that i keep. Also my wonderful Wife is a rock in the gospel and helps me have a firm fondation. I believe it is just as easy to do what is RIGHT as it is to do things that are wrong. 50/50. so Choice What is Right. my current calling is as Ward Clerk.
