Jessica: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Jessica

I'm a mommy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three small children and a wife of an amazing man. Family is my life. I love to read to them, dance with them, garden, play in the dirt, tickle them, go to the park, just be a kid. I love to clean, serve, organize things, go to the temple weekly, attend church meetings, work with youth, read.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of the church every day. I choose to be honest, kind to others, faithful to my husband, and an example to my children of how they need to treat others with respect and love. I love to read the Book of Mormon daily and learn what people have experienced before me. I feel warmth and peace as I do this and serve others. A simple phone call can brighten someone's day. My brother, Jesus Christ, is there to comfort me when I need Him......for anything. What a great reassuring feeling that someone is always there. I have felt him lift burdens from me in a tangible way. This is what a brother would do. I have faith that Jesus Christ lives and He is my brother and the Savior of the world. My testimony gives me hope. Hope that there is a reason to wake up every morning and be a good person. I can make a difference!

Personal Stories

Why/How do you share the gospel with your friends?

Living the gospel has brought me more happiness and peace than I could have ever asked for. That does not mean I have no challenges in life. I wish:) But, I have the tools to deal with those challenges. I know that someone loves me for who I am . I don't have to pretend to be anyone else. This is why I share the gospel with others. I hope that all could feel this way.
Recently, two neighbors had horrible things happen in their families and I was able to show my Savior's love for them by taking their garbage out, sending dinner, watching children, visiting with them, sending notes or texts of encouragement, and giving hugs. Sometimes that's all it takes for someone to realize they really are loved and worth more than rubies.

How I live my faith

I love to serve others. I pray for guidance daily that I may make a difference in someone's life. I visit with the lonely or those who are grieving. I love to clean homes of those who cannot. I am a visiting teacher. I love to visit with my sisters about what is going on in their lives and discuss the gospel and sometimes assist with anything they need. I help plan activities for the young women in my ward. It benefits them by preparing them for their future lives as women, mothers, etc. It also benefits me as I learn many new things and get to be a kid again:) I love to meet people and make them feel welcome and included.
