Paul: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Paul

I've traveled America coast to coast and love it all. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm taking a break from college right now to serve as a missionary for two years. I'm from Rhode Island, born and raised and now I'm on the other end of the country! I'm a math major - yes, I heard that groan just now! - and like to help people to understand and even enjoy math. I am an Eagle Scout and as such, I enjoy outdoorsy things like camping, backpacking, hiking, and canoeing. Talking to folks and figuring out what makes them tick is a hobby of mine - that and people-watching.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a part of this church because I have felt, through the Holy Ghost, that it is true. I love the teachings of this church and following them has blessed my life incredibly. I don't know where I'd be without the direction and peace that this church provides that's why I'm doing my best to share what I've learned about God and our Savior with people as a missionary. It doesn't matter that it can be hard - and it can - if this church and its teachings are true, then nothing else matters.

Personal Stories

Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?

Prayer is really important to me. Since I've been away from home, I have come to understand how much my parents love me and want to hear from me. They write and email me often and send care packages when they can. My Heavenly Father is the same way - He wants to hear from me and send me good things. Prayer is how I can come to know Him better, too.

How I live my faith

I do my best to live as Christ would have me live. This includes attending my church meetings weekly and living the commandments that you can learn more about on this website. I just got home and haven't been given a job - a "calling," as it's called - here in my student ward (congregation) yet, but I anticipate getting one soon.
