I am obsessed with Shoes. I love making new friends, playing basketball, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a farm girl from Idaho and loved every minute of it. I was born into the church, my family makes me who I am and I am so thankful for them and all they have done and still do for me. I have learned a lot from growing up on a farm, like what work Really is, how to working with others, and the importance of always staying busy. I love all kinds of sports especially Basketball, if I can play it with a bunch of people I'm all for it. I am not the kind to get out a book and read a lot it unless it's The Book of Mormon in that case I will. I am usually a very happy person and I love to smile. I am a people person, I love to talk ALOT (and sometimes it gets me in trouble) and meet new people. I love just hanging out with my friends and family. I love the color pink and I am as girlie as they come. I know who I am and I am not afraid of much. I love to work out, serving others and helping everyone in any ways I can. I love pickles! I LOVE SHOES, especially heels and I am already really tall. Don't ask me how many pairs I have. I love trying new things and learning new things. I hope to one day get married in the temple and have 7 to 8 kids. I personally don't think that life can get any better then mine is.

Why I am a Mormon

Well that's a really good question, I am a Mormon because I know it's ALL the truth. I know that God lives and I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I also know that we have a prophet on earth today to leads and guides our church. I am so thankful for THE BOOK OF MORMON it always has the answers. I am a witness of the gospel and the truthfulness of it and nothing can take that away from me.

How I live my faith

I love reading the scriptures every day, there is always an answer to my questions in there and it helps me to make the right choises and live my life the way my Father in Heaven wants me to. I love being able to pray and feel the Holy Ghost working in my life and being able to know that Heavenly Father is really there for us and He wants us to come unto Christ and recieve the blessings He has for us. :) I know by doing the simple things that it can help us out when the big trials come along. It has helped me and I know it can you.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is a belief in something and a knowledge of it's truthfulness. I know that this gospel is true and that it changes lives. I love being able to teach others and see it bless their lives. I am so thankful for my testimony and the things I have been able to find out for myself and believe in.

A testimony in the church is a spiritual witness given to an individual by the Holy Ghost that something is true. The Holy Ghost is a spirit, who is a member of the Godhead. His primary work is to testify, or be a witness, of Jesus Christ and of all truth. However, the Holy Ghost will rarely speak to us in words. Instead, He "pricks our hearts" (see Acts 2) and gives us a feeling of peace and joy, or a feeling of burning and swelling (the good kind) within our hearts. If we seek truth with real intent and pray to God that He will make it known to us, the Holy Ghost will bear witness of truth to us.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No. We worship only God the Father and his son Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God chosen to restore the gospel of Jesus Christ in its fullness back on the Earth. We deeply respect the man and all that he did for man kind as through him the Church of Jesus Christ and the authority which is called the Priesthood was restored to the Earth. The anciant people of Israel deeply revered and respected Moses and all that he did for them, but did not worship him. Joseph was a true Prophet of God and we see him as such, and we only worship the Father and the Son. Joseph was a servant of God and taught about how we should only worship God and Jesus Christ. The purpose of a Prophet is to point us to Christ and help us to know his will, and in these times as terrible as they are, we need the guidance of Prophets to help keep us on the path that God has put before us.
