Hi, I'm Audrey
I'm a Nanny, wife and most importantly I'm a Mormon!
About Me
I am a nanny of 2 young children. I love to read and watch movies! For fun I like to hang out with my husband, play board games with my family. I am a newly wed, and I am so happy to be with the man of my dreams, my soul mate and true love.
Why I am a Mormon
I did not grow up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was raised Christian but did not regularly attend church. When my family did attend it was a Baptist church that my mom had grown up attending. I did not really feel at home or welcomed there so we did not attend often. In high school I attended church with a few of my friends a several different churches but I never felt comfortable or at home at any of them. When I started dating my husband he introduced me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latte-Day Saints. I was interested from the very beginning. i started reading the Book of Mormon and Taking the missionary discussions. Everything seemed to instantly click. I felt like all of the things that the missionaries were teaching me I already knew. A couple weeks into dating I went to church with my boyfriend and I instantly felt welcomed and at home. I walked into the building and felt calm unlike the walk up to the door from the car. A month after starting the discussions I was baptized by my boyfriend, who is now my husband.
I am a Mormon because I truly believe what the Church stands for and teaches. I believe with all my heart that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints teaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Personal Stories
Why do Mormons go on missions?
We go on missions to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who have not heard it. We feel so blessed to have the Gospel in our lives that we want every one to share in the joy that it brings to us and our families.
How I live my faith
I attend church every Sunday unless something HUGE happens like a family emergency. At church I teach primary which is the younger children ages 3-12. This year I teach the 4 going on 5 year olds. There are 5 in my class and they are all great! I am also on the Relief Society (which is the Church's womens organization) board. We plan our activities and humanitarian efforts and classes. My husband and I try to read our scriptures as well as daily family prayer.
