iam a 40 year old married male and have been a member of the church since childhood and was introduced to this church through my stepfather and have always had a strong testimony about this church and strive to live the gospel as i serve as a ward and stake missionary

Why I am a Mormon

iam a mormon because i have studied many different churchs and have the same feelings that joseph smith had i just did not find any thruthwith other churchs and have always came back to mormonism the message of the book of mormon has a great meaning to it and i think that everybody should just try to read it and pray about it truthfulness

In what ways have your prayers been answered?

my prayers have been answer many times but somtimes the answre was not what i wanted but it was what i needed at that time my prayers are answered also everyday by having my whole family involed in my beliefs and through the missionary work that i do the gospel is my life

How I live my faith

i live my faith by striving to follow the words of my church leaders and severing my fellow man to the best of my ability i have had the greatest year of my life with the baptism of my wife and step child and it has spread to my extented family with six other baptisms in the last year and two more in the next month or so my testimony has grown to hugh proportions with my preaching of the restorted gospel and the messages of the church and i also try to be the best husband and father i can be by keeping the spirt in my household

we belive that the holy ghost is a spirtual guide to lead us to our heavenly father by following god plan of salvation,the holyghost is the thrid member of the godhead and is my guide to great sprituality

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

This issue is one that is rife with misunderstanding to outsiders. First, let me say here that we love and accept all of God's children, regardless of beliefs. That being said, we affirm that the central purpose of life is to make and keep covenants in a family relationship. By extension that means bringing children into the world, born in loving families with both a father and a mother.

We believe that our genders are an essential aspect of our eternal identities, that we were male and female even before we came to this earth. Neither sex is more important than the other; both serve the purpose of God to save His children. Both priesthood and motherhood are essential in the rearing of children.

I myself am unspeakably grateful for the blessing of having both a loving father and mother. They each supported me in different ways, unique to their identity as a man and a woman.
