Why I am a Mormon

I became a mormon because i was searching for my belief and comparing the teachings of the missionaries. They were in harmony. Asking the lord about if the church really was true, and after pondering and praying, it became known in my heart the truthfullness of the message. Then i decided to get baptized.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve on various capacity in the church. I've been blessed for those opportunities that I have had. I have had the chance to work with the youth of the church. and seeing them grow spiritually and morally and becoming better Citizens for the nation and the community.

How is the Book of Mormon different from the Bible? How did Joseph Smith obtain the “golden plates” or Book of Mormon?

It is different because it was written by the ancient people of the american continent. Joseph Smith obtained the plates through revelation given to him and he also translated those records through the spirit of revelation.

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

God has made it clear that such choices and behavior are not acceptable to him. We can't change God's standards. We can only choose to live them or not. At certain times in history, certain of God's commandments have been unpopular. But that doesn't change the moral standard God has set.

Also, families are very important to God. He wants men and women to join their lives and teach and raise children. This is God's way of blessing His children.
