Chat With a Mormon Online
I grew up in Paradise California always searching for a good time. I'm pretty sure my interests range to just about every topic or hobby one could think of. I have an awesome family and I am looking forward to a future filled with opportunities. And as of now, I am serving in the Texas San Antonio Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Yessir, I'm a missionary.
I am a Mormon because why could it hurt!? I love the stability and happiness this gospel gives to me. Some people may call the church's guidlines to be "restricting" or "unfair". To me, however, they give me freedom to enjoy my life, and totally make sense. We are lucky enough to have choices in our life. Through really understanding my relationship with God, and knowing His plan for me, helps me to realize how important this life is. The happiness that awaits us in His presence is incredible, and I know that by following His plan, that is something that we all can achieve.
This is the church of Jesus Christ himself. He is our leader, and we follow Him. I am so grateful to know that He guides us through a modern day prophet. Just like in times of old, God has established His church on the earth. With all of the truths and ordinances we need to make it back to His presence. Many people my have many concerns about this gospel, or church. My thoughts Don't even worry! Pray and ask your Heavenly Father if this is right, and He will answer. Since He is our loving Heavenly Father, He wants us to know the truth. Just simply ask.
Because we are all children of God, He has given each of us a specific gift or talent. He knows what we are capable of and wants to help us reach our potential. The more we work on those talents we possess, God will help us to serve him by serving His children. The more we learn to love others, the more we realize the love that God has for us. :)
It simply acts as a witness to show that we are not alone, and that God loves each and every one of His children. I have read way too many verses in the Book of Mormon that have personally touched me and my life. That God was answering my questions and needs through the words of the prophets who lived Anciently in the Americas. The Book of Mormon is just more evidence of the unchangeable God that He has promised us He is.
Although at times I have doubted my faith, through prayer and a lot of introspection, I know where I stand is where God would want many of His children to be. I strive to stand out and be a light to those that surround me by the way I carry myself, behave, and my attitudes toward life.
