About Me

My "kids" are 3 cats- ages 6 years and a set of 7 month old twins. I like to stay at home. I have a Wii that I just started working out on, I love to cook and try new recipes.

Why I am a Mormon

I was drawn to the faith by the strict morals and principals that are often in place. They are just what I needed in my life from a former life of unethical practices. It was time for a much needed change.

How I live my faith

Right now I work in the library at the church in my ward and it gives me access to a lot of information and study materials. I am still a newly converted member. I go to functions as much as I can to get to know people.

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

The president of the church today is the prophet of the world. His name is Thomas S. Monson. I know he is lead by God and leads God's church.

President Thomas S. Monson is our current prophet. He is called of God to receive revelation for us today. I am grateful for living prophets and apostles to lead and guide us in this troubled world. I know that they are called of God, and if we follow their counsel we will be happy.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

No. Our leaders have always operated from the concept that if we teach one another correct principles, we will then make correct choices and govern ourselves. The Church encourages each person to carefully consider every issue and each candidate and to prayfully seek guidance and then to vote responsibily. We are encouraged to be involved with our communities and nation but the Church does not take political positions or endorse parties or individuals.
