About Me

I was adopted when I was just 3 days old to good parents who loved me. Because of them, I always wanted to have children of my own, so my husband and I now have 5! I love to read & write, so I attend college. I also have a passion for teaching & playing the piano, so I have a piano studio. Everyone needs balance, so I spend time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read and studied about Jesus Christ and know that He is my Savior. By following His teachings I feel happiness and peace in my life, especially when there are challenges.

How can we develop greater harmony in our homes?

When we treat our family as politely as we would our friends or an acquaintance, it breeds love and respect.

How I live my faith

I live my faith with a smiling face, giving encouraging words to those around me, and reassuring them that they can accomplish those things that are most difficult for them.

A temple is a house of the Lord, a place where we may worship our Heavenly Father and feel of His presence. It is a sacred place where no unclean thing can enter. Because of the importance and sacredness of the temple, a temple recommend is required and is received based on individual worthiness within the church in order to enter its holy walls.

The temple is where I go to find answers, to find peace, and to feel the Spirit. We are encouraged to go as often as possible and to attend seeking Spiritual guidance. Inside we perform sacred ordinances for ourselves and more often for others, those who are deceased. God requires that all to make covenants in order to return to His presence and many died without the opportunity to make these covenants. In the temple we perform the ordinances for them in their name giving them the opportunity to reject or accept the ordinance and thus enter into the presence of the Father. The temple is a very sacred and holy place.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Yes we do! Heavenly Father is the same yesterday today and forever! Today, God has called a prophet to lead and guide us. His name is Thomas S. Monson. He receives revelation for the issues in our day. We can listen to Him and know what our Heavenly Father wants us to do. I know as you follow God's chosen messengers that we can enjoy happiness, safety, and be led back to Him.
