About Me

I am second to youngest of 8 children in my family. I enjoy reading books and having fun with my friends, and playing xbox with my nephews. I Plan to go to college for Computer Networking when I get home from my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I read the Book Of Mormon and came to know it is true by the Holy Ghost. It has brought great peace and comfort in my life. The Book Of Mormon is the word of God as with the Bible, and together will bring the fullness of his gospel.

How does making right choices help us make more right choices?

If we break a commandment one time it will make it easier for us to break the commandments in the future. President Monson said " It is easier to live the Commandments 100 percent of the time and not only 98 percent of the time." In 1 Nephi 3 verse 7 says, And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

I am on a mission to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with all I meet. My message is that because god loves us he has called a prophet of God on the earth again. As Moses lead the children of Israel God has called another prophet to guide us in our day. He has given us the Book Of Mormon as evidence that their is a prophet on the earth today. who guides his church be receiving revelation from god on what the church should do.
I know that the president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a prophet called of god.

Please share your feelings/testimony of Joseph Smith.

I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. That he saw Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father, that he translated the Book Of Mormon through the gift and power of God. That he died for what he knew to be right. because Joseph Smith did what he felt to be right the world has been blessed.

How I live my faith

I Live my faith by doing the small things that the gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us that we should be doing.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

NO where we belive that a young man should if he is able to. It is their responsibility to ask and prepare to serve a mission. We belive that all mankind has the choice to choose for them selves to act or to be acted apon.
All who want to serve a mission are welcome to do so.

Serving a mission is a priesthood responsibility, and young men are asked to sacrifice two years in order to serve others, gain experience as followers of Christ, and grow in their faith. However, that is a choice each individual has to make on their own and deciding not to go does not affect a person's standing in the Church. But those who do go, men and women alike, usually find that two years is not enough time and wish they could stay longer. Service creates bonds of love for the people you serve. I was unable to go in my young adult years, but I still yearn for the opportunity and look forward to a time when I can serve as a missionary.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Absolutely! Heavenly Father loves us, His children. He loves us so much that He listens to our prayers. He also loves us so much that He has given prophets throughout history to lead us, teach us, and guide us.
