About Me
I am a mother and have the best son in the world. I am also working part time and going to school full time. I am a political science major and want to become a lobbyist, in order to make sure good and righteous laws get passed in our country. I am very interested in the Constitution and I have wrtitten political commentary in the past. I am currently a Senator of Disabled Students Affairs at my college and I am planning on getting my JD soon.
Why I am a Mormon
I am Mormon because I know this is the true Church due to the examples of its members. I have experienced more Christ-like love since coming to the church then any time in my life. I am Mormon because the doctrine matched what I already understood God and Jesus to be in my life. Of course, I realize one needs to be careful trying to define God and Jesus to their own understanding, but my spirit recgonized the truth of the matter. I am Mormon because it has brought out the best in me and I hope my conversion has been a blessing to others as well, especially since I have been given so much.
How I live my faith
I am the Family History Consultant for my ward. Which is perfect for me because it is in line with my personal mission here on Earth which the Lord has seen fit to reveal to me. I am also the Preach the Gospel teacher for my ward as well. However, in my building, we house 3 wards and all of them are invited to my Preach My Gospel class, not just my ward alone. I was the Mid-Singles Co-Chair for my ward but had to give up that calling when I returned to school.
