Hi, I'm Sue
I'm a volunteer advocate for children's issues. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am married with two adult sons and I spend a lot of my time volunteering. I hang around Utah Legislature and Utah State Board of Education meetings talking about children's issues and tweeting. I also like to garden and I'm learning to quilt.
Why I am a Mormon
I grew up in the Mormon church and was baptized when I was eight years old. I attended early-morning seminary classes before going to regular high school classes and slowly grew my testimony of the Savior. When I was on my own at college, I discovered that I had to really know and that was the time I worked hard to gain my own testimony of Christ and His plan for our happiness.
How I live my faith
I have spent the last several years conducting the ward choir and really loved doing that. It was time for someone else to have that blessing and now I am playing the piano in Primary for the children ages 3-11. It's great!
