Hi, I'm Margaret
I'm a Mormom. I am from Miami and am a mental health therapist.
About Me
I am a lifetime learner: two Masters and currently working on a PhD. I am proud of these accomplishments and have worked hard for them. I value education. I have three children who are mostly grown and enjoy reading, biking, gardening, and 3-D movies and spending time with my family.
Why I am a Mormon
The spirit whispered to me that I needed to be baptized by full immersion and soon after, missionaries knocked on my door and my youngest daughter and I attended the LDS church for the first time and we were baptized together a month later on July, 9, 2009. It felt good and it felt right and we were filled with the spirit. Now that our eyes have been opened to the truth, we know too much to ever be able live without the love and support of the Latter Day Saints.
Personal Stories
Why do Mormons do family history or genealogy work?
To understand that in the afterlife, there is still work to be done and our ancestors will appreciate that we shared this opportunity to be baptized after they have passed on and to be able to seal families together forever.
Why/How do you share the gospel with your friends?
When the Holy Ghost inspires me to do so and the opportunity presents itself, I am proud to say that I am Mormon and share what is in my heart as what comes from the heart, reachest the heart.
How I live my faith
I am dedicated to my callings and am honored that I have been entrusted to have been set apart by our leaders to have been chosen for them. I lean on my hometeachers for support and guidance and the sisters of the relief society are an inspiration to me as well. I was a teacher for the young women, Ward Representative for the Singles in our church and now a Teacher for the adult women.
