I LOVE to garden, cook and enjoy canning. I like to write and am currently in school to become a teacher.

Why I am a Mormon

My husband and I are both converts to the church. We joined in July 2009 and were sealed in the Temple in August of 2010.
I love the church, what it stands for and what it has done for my family. My faith in the Gospel is strong and I know that the church is true with all my heart.

Personal Stories

What has helped develop greater harmony in your home?

Reading the scriptures and having family prayer as much as possible. By doing these things, we keep a good spirit within our home and life goes smoother when we do these things.

How I live my faith

I am in Young Women's and I love love love my girls! the church has so many great events and opportunities for everyone to participate in and do so in a pleasing manner to out Lord.

Yes Mormons are Christians. We fully believe in the teachings of Christ and believe he is our Savior.

Yes. We believe Jesus Christ is our Savior and we follow His teachings. We believe He is essential for salvation.

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

Of course not! It really doesn't matter where you are from or what color your skin is. The only things that matter are the content of your character. If you are worth to be baptized and live the gospel according to it's principles, then you are worthy to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Official Declaration 2, found in the Doctrine and Covenants, states "Every faithful, worthy man in the Church may receive the holy priesthood, with power to exercise its divine authority, and enjoy with his loved ones every blessing that flows therefrom, including the blessings of the temple. Accordingly, all worthy male members of the Church may be ordained to the priesthood without regard for race or color.” As long as you are worthy, you can be any nationality.
