I am a husband and a dad. I am going to school and plan to graduate soon. I spend my free time with my family doing whatever is fun. We enjoy playing at the park.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to enter the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when I was seventeen. One of the reasons I became a Mormon is because I felt that the Lord was calling me and telling me “this is something good for you”. I had never felt like that before. The Gospel of Jesus Christ helps me to know that my kids, my wife and I can and will live together forever as a family. We can be happy. Not only here on earth but throughout all eternity. This is the Lord’s plan. This is why he came and died for all of us. So that we can be happy and return to live with Him and Heavenly Father.

The three most common words in our home are, I am sorry, please forgive me and I love you.

How I live my faith

I tried to be available for whatever need there is in my church. I enjoy helping others and try to be of service to whoever is in need.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

The role of the Mormon husband is not only to provide economically, but more important spiritually for his wife and his children. To love his family and help them get back to Heaven.

The role of husband and wife in the family is to first and foremost love each other! Wow, revolutionary!!!
I have found that when there is love and complete commitment between my husband and I, there is no problem that we cannot face together. It is much easier to teach the children with love and to handle life's challenges.
My husband and I are equals. I feel loved, respected, and appreciated by him. I hope he feels the same things from me.

Members of the Church are encouraged to be actively involved in their communities. This involvement may even include political activity. The Church is made up members who hold differing political views, positions and opinions. While the Church will support any measure or position that will allow for the free practice of our religion, and the strengthening and supporting of families in general, it does not endorse any specific person involved in political activity, platform, or party.
