Justin: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Justin

I'm LDS.

About Me

I am a father of 3 soon to be 4 very active children, 2 girls and a boy.
I have been a small business owner for several years.
A former athlete I still enjoy going to the gym and playing sports whenever I can.
Since I was a small child I've enjoyed reading and dabble a little in writing myself.
Most of all I enjoy spending time with my family. They have a way of making even the most difficult day something special with their unique and intriguing personalities.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Church to two very interesting parents. My mother is a convert to the Church from Judaism and my father comes from a long line of pioneer families on one side and non-Mormon Texas ranchers on the other. But my family history is not why I am a Mormon. At some point in every persons life every one must decide for themselves what it is that they believe. I am thankful that I had an upbringing that directed me in the direction I have gone. Being a Mormon is more than just the lifestyle that is so well known. It is living the life that Christ himself showed us how to live. Love one another. Love all men regardless of their background. Love all men regardless of their faults. Love all men because it is the right thing to do. I don't profess to be perfect, but I do profess to try and live what I know to be right. Living by the words on Christ should bring no offense to any one, but happiness.

Personal Stories

How can we develop greater harmony in our homes?

Harmony in the home is one of the most difficult goals to achieve as a father of 3 very independent and high spirited children. My three whirling dervishes love one another fiercely, but they do everything else with each other very fiercely as well. Teaching our children to get along is not always the easiest thing in the world, but reinforcing the love they have for one another and the love we have for them is always a calming agent. None of our children respond to frustration or despair, but telling and showing them love and affection is can often cool even the most furious of tempers.

How I live my faith

I truly enjoy going to Church every week. There are so many things I gain from attending. From the spiritual enlightenment to the companionship of good friends who share more than just a faith. I visit several other Mormon families every month to share in life with them. Learning from their trials and successes as well as sharing my own. I have served in many capacities in the Church but nothing is more rewarding to me than to watch my own family make decisions for themselves and to see those decisions are in harmony with the principles my wife and I espouse and teach.
