Hi am Clarence i am a twenty three year old convert of the church servin a mission in Georgia Atlanta North Mission and it has been a great experience for me for me to be out her blessin the lives of so may people and i love it. I am from Houma Louisiana and i love it their i was born and raised in the south all my life and i really learn alot from my mom she has really inspired me in my life and i wouldnt be here today with out her so am very grateful to have such a good mother in my life. so bout two years ago when i joined the church my life wasnt goin nowhere in life but i know that the lord was showin me the light in december of 2008 when her sent two missionaries to my door and ask me if my name was was clarence cuz i was a media referal for a dvd and they had started teachin me bout the restored gospel and the prophet Joseph smith and ever since then my faith in Jesus Christ has changed and am just a lovin carin person and thats why am a Mormon

I am a mormon because i wanna lived my life through the faith of jesus christ and through the priesthood of our beloved brothern Joseph Smith....and to one day be re-born with our Heavenly Father

Can you talk about the missions of the Church and your participation in them?

In December 2008 i had placed an order in for the Joy to World Dvd...and in bout three days i had two missionary girls bring it to me and from that day on my life has been bless learin bout the church and our great prophets....and by doin missionary work....that was has insipered me to serve a mission...and i have my heavenly father to think for that!

How I live my faith

i live my faith through the power and atointement of jesus christ and his will and disire for all love to obey by his commendents, and by doin that i know i be with my father in heaven again

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

We proseltye as Missionaries of the church of jesus christ of latter day saints to help bring other to chriist and help them receive the restored gospel, just like Jesus Christ did when he was on the earth two hundred years ago, our pupose is to invite them into the waters of baptism and the holy ghost and endurein to end thats why we are the lord servants to help others and feed his sheep.

Our decision to serve missions is motivated by our belief in the Gospel and our desire to fulfill the Savior's command to "preach the gospel to every creature" Mark 16:15. The Gospel teaches us that we are all sons and daughters of God, and so we feel a kinship with all of God's children and a desire to help them enjoy the peace in this life that the Gospel provides.Our missionaries are not salesman and won't take much of your time, but I know that your decision to invite them into your home will change your life for good!

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

TheI church knows that there are people who struggle with same sex attraction, but we teach that it is in Heavenly Father's plan for men and women to have relationships that we may fulfill our purpose here on earth--which is to multiply and replenish the earth and live in loving families in order to live eternally with God and His Son, and our families.
