About Me

I'm a husband and a father of 3. Just kidding, I'm 19 and totally a missionary. I'm serving in the Pocatello Idaho mission where my oldest sister served right now! IPM baby! I love pretty much all music but anything on the radio. I love playing guitar. It's what i want to do with my life. I either want to be a guitar teacher or a choir teacher. I'm the youngest of 4. 2 older sisters and an older brother. We're all super tight and I love them all. I'm born and raised in Edmond/Crescent Oklahoma.

Why I am a Mormon

Why the heck wouldn't I be?! Why would I turn down all of these blessings from the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ?!

How has The Book of Mormon helped you understand the purpose of life?

I know that my redeemer lives. I know that through his atoning sacrifice, we can live in the presence of our Heavenly Father once again, for all time and eternity. We can be made clean in the eyes of God. The Book Of Mormon teaches this so clearly and simply. It is another testament of Jesus Christ. We are here to make mistakes, go through trials, and have pain. But because of those things, we can learn of true happiness and pure love. He will never give us a trial we can't overcome.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

We invite all men everywhere to read the Book of Mormon. To ponder in their hearts the message it contains. And then to ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ if the book is true.
If the Book of Mormon is true, then this whole church is true. Then the Prophet Joseph Smith really is a Prophet of God. He actually did restore the church that Jesus Christ HIMSELF established while He was on the Earth. The Book Of Mormon is the keystone of this religion. Once you read this sacred book and ask our Heavenly Father in the name of His son Jesus Christ with pure intent to know, you will gain a knowledge about this religion. Just that simple

Here is a simple step by step instruction on how to know Mormonism is true.

1. Meet with missionaries.
2. Pray to Heavenly Father with real intent and ask something like this, " I want to know if this is Your church, so is this Your church?".
3. READ THE BOOK OF MORMON! Ask God if it is true.
4. Look for an anwser from God. He speaks with us through our thoughts and feelings by the Holy Ghost. Ask the missionaries for more details.
5. Come to church to see for yourself.
6. Keep the commandments that the missionaries teach you.
7. Repeat until answer is received.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

Proxy baptisms are Heavenly Father's solution to the conflict between the need to be baptized in order to obtain eternal life, and the fact that not everyone gets the opportunity to be baptized in this life. We preform baptisms on the behalf of our ancestors, and then our deceased ancestors, in the spirit world, are given the opportunity to choose whether or not they want this baptism to be valid for them.
