About Me

I am a Recent Convert to the church as of December 2009.I am from California. I live in Georgia. I am the type of person who studies all of the policies and explains it to everybody else. I am a competitive person. I enjoy my career. I know that a smile is contagious so try to catch it often.

Why I am a Mormon

Missionaries came to teach me the First Vision and asked me to pray to know that this church was true. I prayed to know and the rest is history. I was baptized 3 month later and I love every minute of it. Me and the Missionaries who taught me and baptized me are still great friends today.I bare Testimony that I know this Church is true, Joseph Smith was a Prophet call to restore Jesus Christ Church and all its Priesthood Keys to the Earth, and It is till here on the Earth today.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

We send young Men and Women on missions to find people like me and you who are interested in the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I follow the Words of Wisdom, Live the Law of Chasity, Read my scriptures daily, I go visit 3 families a month in our area to see if they need anything and share a spiritual thought. I go out with the Missionaries to share the gospel with others in the area who are in search of the Restored Gospel.

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

President Thomas S. Monson is our Prophet but the Rest of the Twelve are Prophets also.

President Thomas S. Monson is our current prophet. He is called of God to receive revelation for us today. I am grateful for living prophets and apostles to lead and guide us in this troubled world. I know that they are called of God, and if we follow their counsel we will be happy.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

I have come to know our Father in Heaven through private prayer and service. As I pray and receive answers through impressions and feelings, I am able to assist in His work. At other times, I have been comforted at the times when I needed it most by a very real presence. I feel His love as I serve others and I can feel His love for them.
