Hi, I'm Angie.
I live an ordinary, beautiful life as a wife and a mom. I'm a dreamer, a crafter & a blogger. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I love the simple but challenging, ordinary but wonderful life I have been blessed with as a wife and a mom. My favorite place to be is home, spending time with my husband & two girls. I work part-time at a local scrapbook store & find my joy in being creative and preserving my memories through crafting, scrapbooking & blogging.
Why I am a Mormon
I have chosen to be an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints because of the simplicity & perfection of it's teachings. I know who I am, where I came from, what my mission on this earth is, and what is to come after this life. Through that knowledge, I have the understanding and peace I need to get through any adversity I face throughout my life. I have come to know, through experience, that Jesus Christ is my Savior, Redeemer & friend. I know that He loves me, as well as all of my fellow travelers on this earth. I feel the companionship & love of the Lord in my life as I try to follow His gospel.
How I live my faith
One of my favorite quotes is by a leader of the church, David A. Bednar. He said: "Ordinary people who faithfully, diligently, and consistently do simple things that are right before God will bring forth extraordinary results."
That is my goal. Life can be busy & isn't always easy, but I try my best to work hard everyday to serve my friends and family, show love to my fellowmen & be active in my church community, to the best of my ability. I enjoy reading the scriptures & candidly sharing my testimony with others. I have a passion for seeking out the beauty in the all simple blessings God has given me. I am my happiest when I am being consciously grateful & serving others. I often fall short, but I know that my Savior is my greatest cheerleader, and that through daily repentance & His atonement, tomorrow is new opportunity for growth.
