Hi, I'm Tommy
I run ultras and I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I'm a Husband, Father, and Small Business Owner with a Running Addiction. I'm an Eagle Scout and an active Scouter! I have a BA in History and started a Master's of Divinity.
Why I am a Mormon
I cannot remember at what age I felt the LDS Church to be true, but even before I was 8 years old and baptized, I wanted to serve as a full-time missionary! As a teenager, waiting for my 19th Birthday, I did not waiver from that decision and the experiences that I had preparing for my mission, serving my mission, and even continuing through today have confirmed to me that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true!
Personal Stories
Why do Mormons go on missions?
As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints we serve missions because we believe that the knowledge we have and the truths we embrace are unique. We not only want everyone to know, but believe it to be necesary that these truths are shared worldwide in every tongue/language. I have seen great joy in my life and the life of others through mine and my wife's missionary service.
How I live my faith
I live my faith by daily praying and asking Heavenly Father to give me the energy to be an example of His Son and then using that energy to make it so.
