Natalie. : Mormon.

Hi, I'm Natalie.

I am a wife. I am a mother. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and stay at home mom of an adorable 2 year old son. I work part time from my home as a team camp recruiter for my father's soccer camps. I never thought I would be a stay at home mom, but I love it. I enjoy every moment I can spend with my son and family. I also love reading, running, playing soccer, and I volunteer at the school I used to work for as a library assistant.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were both converts to the church, but I was born in the covenant after they were baptised. Even though I grew up in a Mormon household, I still had to find my own desire and testimony to live the gospel outside of my parents house. I struggled a bit in college with my faith, but I met my future husband at Institute class. Together we knew that if we were going to be a family and raise one, there was only one way to do it - the right way - by being better members of the church and better followers of Christ. I love that our church focuses on the family. My husband and I were able to be sealed in the temple two years after we were married. Coming back to the church and developing a stronger testimony of the gospel has defined me as a person and made me happier. The church gives me and my family guidence, strength, and comfort. I am so grateful I live on the earth during a time when the gospel is restored.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as the Primary President for our ward. At first I was very overwhelmed by this calling, but I have grown to love it and accept the challenges that come with it. I love teaching the gospel in its most basic and simple terms. We have wonderful teachers and children in our primary and I love getting to know them better. I also hold regular family prayers, scripture study, and family home evening to try and help teach our son about the gospel. It can feel like a huge undertaking at times, trying to teach our little ones about Christ, but with His help and guidance all things are possible.
