Hi, I'm Michael J. Williams
I am a retired corporate executive living with my wife in our home we built in Gig Harbor, Wa. I'm a Rotarian and I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am a retired CFO of a large company living in Gig Harbor, Washington. I currently serve as the branch president of a congregation of about 70 young adults 18-30 yrs old. My wife and I have a wonderful time associating with this younger generation. We frequently have groups over to our home or to our lake cabin for various activities of socializing, eating, and recreation. We meet for church services on Sunday and have an activity night on Monday evenings at the church building.
Why I am a Mormon
When I was still a baby my mother investigated the church because she knew my father was mormon, although inactive. After studying about the church she was converted and joined and my father was reactivated. Both of them have served in important positions in the church my entire life so I was brought up with a strong faith and a strong family.
How I live my faith
In addition to serving iny Church I have felt in important to give to the community as well and have been a former member of Lions Club, professional associations, school committees, and am currently a Rotarian. I have been a scoutmaster twice and served as a District Chairman and District Commissioner in two Scout Councils.
