 Each is unique and lovely just like women found throughout the world. You will find that they are articulate, accomplished, clever, fashionable, poised, and well mannered. They are women of God. They uphold religious standards in their homes, communities, and country, because they know that by and through their examples, even if only small, they can be an influence for the betterment of the societies in which they reside. They in turn face challenges, trials, and heartache, just the same as other women, but only with the sure knowledge of God as their benefactor. You would not be able to pick a Mormon woman out of a crowd, but only for her light and modest appearance. As a Mormon woman, and one that believes in equality of men and women, race, and means, I can say that men and women are found equal within the Mormon Church. Although I believe the world has confused equality with likeness. It is thought that to be equal one has to demonstrate exact strength, intellect, monetary gain, and prestige. But this isn’t true, just as you will find different talents and accomplishments among men, you will find it also among women. They have been blessed with different talents and abilities. Those attributes are best seen when demonstrated in different environments. And when joined together compliment and support one another. Fully equal, but different.
