About Me

I am married to my college love and have a wonderful family.

I'm an engineer and have worked in aerospace most of my life. It is not just something I do it is what I really enjoy.

I love to scuba dive. It is something I did because my son wanted to do it so bad and then I just fell in love with the ocean.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to a family that were already members of the church. I became a teenager and had to figure out if this was something I really believed in or not. I spent many nights trying to figure it out. It was when I discovered that it was in the church that I felt peace and love that I decided this was for me.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon means that I have a chance to love and serves others. Sometimes I work with the youth. Sometimes I visit widows or young families like mine. It means doing things that make a difference. It means being part of Jesus Christ's church.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

I remember as a child not really understanding why I would need a Savior. I would think, "God has all power why would Jesus need to die for us?" Since then I have learned how it is through Jesus Christ that God has planned for us to come back to Him. With the sacrifice of His life, I can return to Him - even though I am not perfect. He cleans me of my sins so I can be clean enough to return - if I just believe.

I go through tough times every once in a while. When I think of Jesus Christ and His life here on the earth, I know that He can understand tough times. When I hurt - I know He can understand my hurt.

I now know my Heavenly Father has a way for me to come back - it is through His Son and my Savior Jesus Christ.

Have you ever met a perfect person? I doubt it. Why? Because everyone makes mistakes. When you make a mistake or are confused on what you should do, you want someone to help you, right? We all need someone to help us. We all need a Savior. We always hear that Jesus Christ saved us, but what does that truly mean? It not only means that he suffered and died for you personally, it means that he lived and lives for us too. He wants to help us. Jesus Christ is the only one who underestands everything that we go through. He not only wants to make up for the mistakes we make, but he wants to carry our burdens too. All we need to do is let him carry our burdens. Everyone faces personal challenges and Jesus is there to help. Everyone makes a mistake qa some point in life too. The beauty of having a Savior, is the fact that we can be forgiven. Sometimes our hands get dirty, but they can always be washed clean.

Do Mormons practice polygamy?

No. Mormons do NOT practice polygamy. There are many people outside the Church that say otherwise, but that doesn't change the truth of the matter.

There is nobody living on this earth right now who can truly claim to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who practices polygamy. It is against the law, both of the land and of the Church. We do not approve of such things.

There are some groups of people who do practice this and also claim to be Mormons, but I assure you that they are not in any way affiliated with this Church.
