About Me

I am a missionary for the Lord Jesus Christ. I am currently serving in northern Ohio. I am child number 5 of eight. I am the brother to 4 beautifull sisters, 3 steller brothers, four of those siblings have blessed me with eight nieces and nephews, and I have the best parents a guy could ask for. Born and raised in Utah. Born into the church, and love it with all my heart! I love to write, even though i can't spell. I love to swim, hike, go backpacking, camp, and read. I am a true thespian, i love to watch and act in live theatre. But more than anything i love sharing the gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I have felt the love, and Spirit of God that i know i could not find anywhere else.

Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?

Prayer is huge in my life! It was by, and because of prayer that I came to know my savior, and my Father in Heaven. And how i continue to develope that relationship with them. It is prayer, that link to God, that keaps me going. I am so greatfull for that blessing in my life!!

How I live my faith

By living the first and great comandment, as Christ stated love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, might, mind, and strength. And I show that love by keaping his comandments. And i find those comandments as I read his holy scriptures, and attend church.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

To lend a helping hand to all those many of our brothers and sisters that passed from this earth, without having the oppertunity to recieve the blessings of the Gospel.

A temple is a house of the Lord, a place where we may worship our Heavenly Father and feel of His presence. It is a sacred place where no unclean thing can enter. Because of the importance and sacredness of the temple, a temple recommend is required and is received based on individual worthiness within the church in order to enter its holy walls.

The temple is where I go to find answers, to find peace, and to feel the Spirit. We are encouraged to go as often as possible and to attend seeking Spiritual guidance. Inside we perform sacred ordinances for ourselves and more often for others, those who are deceased. God requires that all to make covenants in order to return to His presence and many died without the opportunity to make these covenants. In the temple we perform the ordinances for them in their name giving them the opportunity to reject or accept the ordinance and thus enter into the presence of the Father. The temple is a very sacred and holy place.

Do Mormons practice polygamy?

No, Mormons do not practice polygamy and discontinued the practice over a century ago. Yet, whenever I discuss my faith, often the first question asked is, "how many wives do you have?" It is important to know that the religious groups that currently practice polygamy, as often seen on the news, have no affiliation with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Even though some of these groups may claim otherwise.
