I grew up in Utah, I Mt. bike, drive fast, drink monster, and live it up.....im a momo!

About Me

I like being active and doing something. I love to mountain bike, rock climb, shoot guns, plays sports, especially basketball. I love cars, especially muscle cars (1969 Chevy Camaro is probably my favorite). I like graffiti art and chillen with my friends. I love music! Pretty much any kind. Rock, classic rock, alternative, soundtracks, rap etc etc etc. I do believe that eminem is the illist rapper ever and will be till the end. I love watches, invicta and g-shock to be specific. Im from Utah and proud of it. Some people like to do boring things, I don't. I love anything that will give you a crazy adrenaline rush. I love drinking monster and mountain dew. I love driving fast. I am on a full time mission in the Great State of New Jersey, seriously, its awsome out here. I will be here for two years and I lovin' every second of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because this religon has made me who I am today. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints because I know that it is Jesus Christ's church restored to the earth. Growing up I was kind of rebellious. Eventually I hit a rough spot and was not sure who I really was or what I was doing. I was lost. I was raised by awsome parents who taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ so I knew alot about it and decided to really find out if this was true for myself and not just because I was told that it was. So I read the Book of Mormon and pondered in my heart the message that it contained and then prayed to ask my Father in Heaven if it was true. The answer I recieved was that it is true. Thats why I am on a mission today. It changed my life. It changed how I look at others and my outake on life. I always thought God was just a supreme being who didnt really care about my likes or dislikes or really where I ended up, but now I know that God is the reason that all the things I love even exist. Its because of love that he inspired someone to make a mountain bike, its because of Gods love that someone made a shotgun and made little clay disks and came up with the idea to throw them in the air and blast them apart with a freaken 12 gauge. Its because of Gods love that he restored the gospel of Jesus Christ (faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, recieving the gift of the Holy Ghost and Enduring to the end) to the earth with the neccessary priesthood authority to run everything. God is Real, he Is our loving Heavenly Father. I am a mormon because I know thats true. I know the happiness and peace that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings and I want to share that with everyone that I can.

Personal Stories

How has the Book of Mormon brought you closer to God?

The Book of Mormon is an amazing book. Everytime I read it, I know I am reading inspired writings that prophets wrote thousand of years ago. I know that God spoke to these prophets and the words they wrote were meant for us in this day and age. It teaches about God and the plan that he has for each and everyone of us. Everytime that I read the book of Mormon I can feel my Father in Heavens love for me. It helps give me direction and understanding of what God wants me to do. Because of this I can feel him closer in my life.

What is hope and what do you hope for?

Hope is trusting in the Lord. Its trusting that the promises He has made to you will be accomplished. Trusting that you are not alone and He is always with you. I hope for a successful life. I hope for an awsome afterlife where I can be with those I Iove forever.

How has your knowledge of the Plan of Happiness changed/benefited your life?

My knowledge of the plan of happiness has definitely changed my life and the way I view things. Because of it I know exactly why im here on earth. I know where I came from and where im going. God has revealed this plan of happiness to us through his prophets. I know how to live my life, I know the things that will make me truly happy and to find that peace that everyone is looking for. God loves us alot and He has provided us with a plan that will make us happy. When you find that, it will make all the difference in your life.

How has The Book of Mormon helped you understand the purpose of life?

Growing up I thought that Happiness came from things that were just simply 'fun'. I looked for happiness in things that ultimately don't last. At the end of the day I was left with nothing. I lived speratically day to day and I was just waisting my life. Through reading the book of mormon I realized that I was looking for happiness in all the wrong places. Through the book of mormon I came to understand that true happiness came directly from God. I came to know that God really does have a plan for every single person on earth and that He has provided us with everything that we need to be happy, truly happy, not just things that fade as soon as the moment is over. Since then I have had a direction to go. I never have to wonder what my purpose is, because I know, and it came from the book of mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the best I can to be an example to others. I live the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a full time representative of Jesus Christ right now so I try my best to live my life the way that He wants me to. I do my best to help others come closer to Christ and help them understand that there is more to life then just living day to day. I live my faith by accepting people for who they are and being a friend to anyone.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Yes I do. I believe it 100 percent whole heartedly. And it is proof that God is there and that he does love us. He has chosen someone on earth to speak to us as a representative of Jesus Christ to tell us the things that will make us not only have peace in this life but eternal salvation.

I do believe that there is a prophet alive today. This was a concept that I struggled with when I was investigating the Church because I was skeptical of ancient prophets, much less a living prophet. As I worked with the Bishop and Stake President (local Church leaders), I began to see that they could receive revelations for my benefit as well as other Church members for whom they have responsibility. Seeing God's power through these good men that I came to know personally helped me realize that our Heavenly Father directs his Church through modern day prophets.

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?
