About Me
I'm a retired engineer who has loved to ride my horses, camp, hunt and fish plus I like to make hardwood trees into furniture. I do everything from cutting down the trees to finished products. I think the best part of retirement is having six Saturdays a week to possibly visit with my kids/grandkids.
I've always enjoyed helping people -- Maybe that is why I enjoyed my profession of utility engineer/supervisor. I always tried to provide service to new homes and businesses when or before people wanted, to improve facilities so power stayed on and was very reliable, to help restore power when things failed such as in big storms. It was a satisfying career, and now I continue by helping people in other ways.
Why I am a Mormon
I was born in the Church. Being a logical person, I was always amazed at how the gospel answered all my questions and more. But the real reason is the answers I have received to so many prayers and the inner peace I feel in that I'm doing what I should.

How I live my faith
I like to read scriptures and church leaders messages, pray, attend church, and help my family and others. I now serve as the leader for 11 year old scouts. Being a boy scout leader for many years has been very rewarding to watch them develop into great young men.
