I'm a Gamer and I like to sing. I just returned home from a mission for my church, I enjoy helping out the missionaries near my home.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born a member of the church I went through a period of time where I decided to pray and ask God about my belief, He answered my prayer and now I know for myself the truth of what is taught, I later served a mission for my church sharing my beliefs with many people some who tried to argue about it or prove it wrong but the truth still is true no matter the opposition that it recieves

Personal Stories

Please share your feelings/testimony of Joseph Smith.

Through prayer I have personally come to find out that Joseph Smith truely is a prophet of God. I have also grown to feel the truth of that statement through intellectual means as well, I've studied the prophets life very thouroughly as well as the teachings that God revealed through him. For example, the plan of Salvation as we believe it is perfect, there is no other way that makes any sense, all the other explanations as to why we're here, what we're suppose to do here, and where we're going just dont make sense to me. Anyway, the point of all this is... I know its true, the beliefs we have are powerfully true, there is no other way to salvation but through Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by showing my devotion to god through striving to share my feelings with others as well as striving to become more like Christ through the power of the atonement Christs sufferings and death on the cross and ressurection. I've learned to love my God and I don't want to disappoint the grand creator.

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

no there is no restrictions to joining the church you can be white black pink purple... whatever

Nope, “every faithful, worthy man in the Church may receive the holy priesthood, with power to exercise its divine authority, and enjoy with his loved ones every blessing that flows therefrom, including the blessings of the temple. Accordingly, all worthy male members of the Church may be ordained to the priesthood without regard for race or color.”

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

Women don't hold the priesthood in the church, as this is a teaching that has come from Jesus Christ. However, women have such a significant role to play in the church that personally I have never felt that this is an issue I am concerned with or even think about. My husband and I are equal partners in our family, and the church has such respect and reverence for women and their role in the world. Women in the church also belong to what is called the 'Relief Society' it is one of the largest women's organisation in the world, and fills me with such a desire to serve and do good that when we meet together wherever I am in the world I feel so proud to be apart of it.
