I am involved in many arts. Currently, dancing, art and theatre occupy my scope. I also enjoy gardening and baking.
I was born into this faith. I also have come to feel a personal conviction of its importance in my life as I've practiced the principles I believe.
I have always had a green thumb. I now am able to bless many people by the vegetables/fruit I produce! Last year, our complex made green pasole from all the tomatillos I grew!
The Book of Mormon has taught me how to live "after the manner of happiness." Simply put, misery is a choice. I'd rather live with peace and joy radiating from every moment.
The Holy Ghost has helped me on many instances. Once I was caretaker for a cat who had slipped away out of my reach. I was prompted to pray and almost immediately the animal returned.
Many times, my mission to ID comes up in casual conversation. Mormons serve missions for the purpose of sharing something that has brought much joy and meaning to their life with others. A mission is also a great way to gain a conviction of ones faith as testimony surely comes from the bearing of it.
Faith to me is a way of life. It determines my dress, what I eat and what entertainment I pursue. Most important it reminds me to treat others the way I hope to be treated.
