About Me

My wife and I were married in March of 2010 in the Mesa Temple. I am attending college to become an accountant. I enjoy all kinds of sport especially wrestling. My wife and I love music and we frequently play together. I play the guitar and she plays the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a loving Mormon household. My parents worked very hard to make sure that my two brothers and myself were happy and that all of our needs were met. They emphasized the teachings of Jesus Christ and they both worked hard to be disciples of Him. I saw very early on in my ife that true happiness comes from living in accordance to the teachings of Jesus Christ. It was through the love of my mother and the hardwork of my father that I came to see the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ is my savior and redeemer and it is only through the Book of Mormon that we can truly grow closer to Him in the the way that Heavenly Father intended.

How I live my faith

My wife and I work with the youngsters of our church. I mean 18 months to 3 years old! Though it is challenging, it is very rewarding. Our love for little children has grown. To see the excitement in a child's eyes is amazing especially when they are learning about Jesus Christ.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Our entire religion is focused on Jesus Christ, this is His church. As a mormon I know that Jesus is my savior. Because were are but humans, we will make mistakes, some small, others more serious. It is through His love and mercy that we might be free from the guilt that burdens us from those mistakes. More than just guilt and mistakes, Jesus can comfort us ad save us from situations that are not self inflicted. "All that is unfair about life can be made right through the Atonement of Jesus Christ." I know Jesus loves me, I know this because I have experienced feelings of sorrow, feelings of physical,emotional, and spiritual pain, and every time I have felt these things, I have also felt the healing power of Christ working in my life.

The fundamental principle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the faith in, reliance upon, and relationship with Jesus Christ. We regard Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world. Everyone on the earth today has made mistakes. All of us have come short of the perfect example that Christ set for us. The problem is the laws of God state that “no unclean person…hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.” (Ephesians 5:5) Because of these laws, we needed a way to be cleansed from these sins and mistakes. God knew that we would fall short of perfection and by His grace he provided us a Savior, Jesus Christ. Being a perfect soul without blemish, Jesus was capable and willing to take upon Himself our sins. Because He paid the penalty for our sins, the atonement, we must take upon ourselves His name to reap the blessings of forgiveness. We do this by having faith in Christ, admitting and repenting of our sins, and being baptized in the true and restored church of Jesus Christ.

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

Part of our purpose here on earth is to form eternal families. A husband and his wife possess the God-given abilities to procreate. Together they are two halves of a whole. Each possess gifts and abilities necessary to the creating and rearing of children. God has ordained it such, and any lifestyle that inhibits the progression towards forming eternal families is not in accord with God's plan and purpose for life. "Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 11:11)
