Bronson: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Bronson

I find running fun. I'm an aspiring student. I love ice cream. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young adult who recently graduated from high school in Oregon. I am an Eagle Scout.

I find running to be a rewarding and enjoyable sport. As such, I have taken part in cross country and track. Running is a great stress reliever and the memories that can be created with running partners can be priceless too.

Being in the outdoors is always a rewarding experience. I love to backpack, hike, and explore nature around me. We live in a country that is abounding in beauty that I think is often overlooked. There is just something about being in nature that allows the mind to think and feel peace.

I love life in general. It amazes me every day the great hearts that people can possess. I look forward to improving and enjoying those around me. There is so much to enjoy and appreciate in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

When I think about it, every possible joy or good thing in my life has been a result of being a member of this Church. The great thing about this Church too is the ability for everyone to grow as an individual. Some think that you have to have a certain personality or lifestyle to be a good member. Not true at all. We come from all walks of life, and all have different interests and struggles.

I am grateful for my membership in the Church. I truly feel at peace and happy with my life. I have been able to create strong relationships through my membership too.

People think we have a lot of rules and don't like to "live" life. These rules are actually guidlines given to us from God, through church leaders and the scriptures. They are here to make us happier than we could be if we chose to live a lifestyle closer to those portrayed in today's world. We don't live bland lifestyles. Quite the opposite actually. I believe we are more creative in how we live our lives as a result. I'm grateful for the guidance we've been given and the blessing it is in my life.

How I live my faith

As a former high school student I was a seminary student, which is an early morning religion class held each school day for high school-age students. Despite the fact that it would convene at a time when most kids were still asleep, it was well worth it. I was able to develop a stronger testimony as a result. Although I was tired sometimes, I wouldn't trade the experience for the sleep I may have missed.

As a member I have also tried to serve others through simple acts too. A friendly hello to a shy individual or inviting someone to participate in a wholesome and fun activity can go a long ways. Offering encouraging words is another great example. I've found by striving to be a bright and cheerful person, I can make a person's day better without too much effort.
