About Me

I am an English major at college right now. I love music and traveling. My favorite place to be is the ocean or across the ocean in the United Kingdom.

Why I am a Mormon

Being LDS has blessed me in ways I cannot even begin to describe. I know it is the true church, and even though I believe that there are other churches that have part of the truth, I know that we have the full restored gospel. I can't argue with what I know to be true.

Personal Stories

Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?

When I pray, it helps me to know that there is always someone with me. When I am scared or lonely I know that I can talk to my Heavenly Father and he will listen.

How I live my faith

I attend a church university where I follow the standards and attend all of my church activities

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Family is the one thing on earth that is a sure thing. Having a close family is important and though it may be hard, it can be done. The church has brought my family together in several ways and made us closer and stronger. Thanks to my faith, I also know that I will be able to be with them forever and I wouldn't want it any other way.

What is the Relief Society?

The Relief Society is the organization in the Church where women come together to strengthen, serve, and teach each other. It's Motto is "Charity Never Faileth" which women of the Church live by to bring relief to the weary and down trodden. Women meet as a Relief Society each week to learn about the Gospel and grow closer to Jesus Christ. Women are asked to serve in many capacities within the Relief Society and give of their time and talents. There are also activities where women share skills and do service for those in their community as well as victims of disasters around the world.
