I was born in raised in the deep south. Grew up with an amazing family. Traveling is my most favorite thing. I've grown up my whole life being deaf in one ear. It has actually been a blessing in disguise. It has made me who I am. I love scuba diving and anything that involves ocean or the outdoors. I love nature. It is proof the our Heavenly Father is an artist. I'm in college right now, studying Elementary Education with an endorsement in Teaching English as a Second Language. My goal is to move to a foreign country and teach english there. But even if I can't do that, I still love kids and working with them.
I have had the opportunity to grow up as a member of this church. My family history goes back to my great great grandfather being a friend of the Prophet Joseph Smith. Though I have grown up in this kind of environment, I do have my own personal testimony of this gospel. My parents never forced me to be a member. I prayed and chose to stay here. I know that it is true. This Gospel gives so much hope to the world, I know it can not be a lie. Families can be together forever. There is more to life than we know. There is life after death. Christ died so that we can become like him and return to our Heavenly Father. I know that Jesus Christ lives. I know that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father, who loves me, and wants me to return to him, to be like him. I am so thankful for this knowledge.
I live my faith by who I am. I can't help but smile everyday. I'm a daughter of my loving Heavenly Father. I try to live my faith by my daily activities. When I coached Swim team, we would always start with a prayer. In my daily activities I try to live a life like my Heavenly Father wants. I'm not perfect, but I hope one day I will be, and that I can return to Him and say that I've done the best that I could.
